• Accomodation and food are provided at the 'Bursa Szkolna' (High School Dormitory) in Pulawy.
• A small honorarium of 300 PLN.
• Free weekend excursions.
• All expenses paid one week tour of Poland with other teachers.

Requirements

• Native English speaker
• Some ESL or other teaching experience is preffered
• Transportation to and from Poland
• Patience, energy and enthusiasm for working with students between 13 and 19 years of age.

A Typical Day...

• 8:00 - breakfast
• 9:00 - classes begin
• 10:30 - break
• 11:00 - classes resume
• 12:00 - classes end
• 12:30-13:30 - lunch
• 14:00 - 16:00 - Outdoor (or indoor depending on weather) activities in English.
• 16:00 - 8:00 - FREE TIME!

  Frequently Asked Questions

  How many hours a day will I be teaching?

  Classes are up to 3 hours in the morning, and 2 hours in the afternoon.

  Do I need an ESL teaching certificate?

  We do not require that teachers have an ESL teaching certificate, however interest in the past has been very high for these positions and most candidates are career teachers or have strong teaching credentials.

  What is the accomodation like?

  Teachers are housed in the dormitory. 2 people per room with an ensuite bathroom for 2 rooms. 4 people share one bathroom. Three meals a day are provided, breakfast, dinner (the main meal) at noon and a light supper in the evening. Breakfast ranges from milk and cereal to bread and cold cuts. Dinner is usually meat and potatoes with salad and supper is sandwiches or similair.

  Where do we go for the trip around Poland?

  The details of the trip for this year have not yet been finalized however in the past destinations included Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, Auschwitz and Lublin.
